Then you might be interested in this workshop.
Robin De Hass is a certified Breathing Coordination™ Instructor, he will help you understand and apply the foundations of a balanced and efficient breath management system.
There are approximately 100 components to the breathing mechanism so it is understandable that sometimes you cannot always get it right all of the time, especially as it’s required for singing and public speaking.
Robin will give you an insight into the functional anatomy and practical application of the Breathing Coordination™ method. This will help you to use your respiratory system in such as way that you can access your true singing/speaking potential and ensuring you maintain a safe breathing technique.
People who will benefit from these workshops include:
• Singers / Professional Voice users* who wish to improve breathe control when using their voice
• Anyone who has suffered trauma to the vocal cord e.g. nodules, bleeding, swelling or post surgery
• Anyone who suffers from a respiratory disorder including emphysema or partial surgical removal of a lung or part of a lung
There will be two workshops; the first will be an introduction workshop with a mix of theory and practical for anybody who wishes to explore the breathing mechanism as it relates to good voice production.
The second workshop will be composed of individual sessions of breathing assessment and relevant tools to address the participant’s breathing needs in context of singing, acting or speaking (all within a group setting).
