EFE plenary meeting 2011 April 17, 2011

During the Belgium EU-presidency, the Belgian EFE members, in cooperation with EFE Forerunners, have developed a proposal for a European Firearms Action Plan. This Action Plan to combat illegal trafficking in so called “heavy” firearms was accepted and adopted on the 2nd of December 2010 by the JHA (Justice and Home Affairs). The most important subjects for the next EFE plenary meeting in 2011 are the topics mentioned in this Action Plan. Participation of the experts of all EU Member-states would be valuable and necessary in order to work on the issue of the Action Plan.
