Educational Forum: Genetics and Hereditary Risk Relating to Breast and Ovarian Cancer November 9, 2010

Presenting the eleventh in a series of educational forums offered jointly by Support Connection and The Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center at Northern Westchester Hospital. This forum is open to the general public and will specifically address genetic issues pertaining to breast and ovarian cancer, a topic that is relevant to cancer survivors, their family members and to anyone who may have concerns about their own risk factors. The discussion will be led by Dr. Anthony Cahan, Chief of Breast Surgical Services at Northern Westchester Hospital, and Peggy Cottrell, MS, CGC, a certified genetic counselor who has specialized in cancer genetics for eight years and currently works at the Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center at White Plains Hospital Center.
