David has vast experience in the fields of Alzheimer’s disease and long-term care. He has coauthored four influential books (most notably, the Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s Care) on Alzheimer’s care as well as numerous articles relating to Alzheimer’s disease care and staff development and training.

Not everyone has the “knack” to provide care for, or work with others diagnosed with dementia. David Troxel will teach you techniques to become someone’s “best friend.”
