“Educate Your Palate – A Belgian Bier Tasting” Fundraiser for WUWM 89.7 FM

Hosted by Fat Abbey Biercafé, an admission ticket includes a beer presentation, four 3 oz. beer samples, appetizers featuring traditional Belgian “frites” (fries) and a commemorative WUWM/Fat Abbey 16 oz. pint glass. All proceeds from will support WUWM’s programming costs.
WUWM’s Bruce Winter will introduce our beer expert Andy Wilde who will educate attendees on the different beer styles, tastes and origins.

Beers samples include: Stella Artois Pilsner, Hoegaarden Wit, Tripel Karmeliet, and La Chouffe Houblon Dobbelen Indian Pale Ale Tripel. Attendees may purchase additional select beers at a discount. Soda will be provided for designated drivers.
Advance tickets are $25 for the beer tasting participants and $10 for designated drivers. All attendees must be 21. Space is limited to 60 participants. Tickets go on sale Monday, January 12, 2009 at 9 a.m. Call WUWM at 414.270.1225 to purchase tickets. If available, tickets will be for sale at the door for $30/$15.
