The Annual Opening of
The First Person Festival, www.firstpersonfestival.org

Join us at Edible World on Thursday, June 1! Sample sumptuous cuisine by Philadelphia's top international chefs as they divulge secret recipes and tell tales from behind the kitchen door in an evening of mingling, drinking, and tasting. Meet bestselling writer Gael Greene, author of Insatiable, a new book about her adventures in sensuous excess as a restaurant critic for New York magazine. Food lovers will sample cuisine and meet and mingle with over 20 of Philadelphia's hottest chefs, from the up-and-coming to the nationally renowned. In its first four years, the Festival has showcased the work of more than 200 artists nationwide. We have reached across cultures and communities to attract a broad and diverse audience and have played an important role in exploring and celebrating the richness of our mixed heritage.
