Ed Scheer, the multi-faceted front-man and chief songwriter for the Love Dogs, brings together a compelling collective of blues luminaries. Each week different performers share the stage with Ed to tear it up in style. Eddie Scheer’s Tuesday Night Allstars has become a music sensation in Boston. This week the theme will be ladies sing the blues and we are thrilled to invite Lydia Warren and Alizon Lissance to the stage.
Guitarist/singer Lydia Warren, a familiar face to New England blues fans, has been touring and recording since 2000. This summer she won the Granite State Blues Challenge, toured from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon, opened for Edgar Winter and Jonathan Edwards, and played the North Atlantic Blues Festival. Joining Lydia will be keyboardist and vocalist, Alizon Lissance.
Considered one of Boston's most intriguing and dynamic performers, Alizon’s gutsy rock 'n blues style has delighted audiences on local, national and international stages. For years Alizon has built a reputation for making other artists sound good as one of the most in-demand studio and live keyboardists in the Northeast. A Boston Music Awards winner, Alizon has worked with, among others, Lavern Baker, Mighty Sam McClain and Laurie Sargent as well as being a founding member of top New England bands Girls' Night Out and The Love Dogs.
