Sam Weaver is President and CEO of Cool Energy, Inc., a renewable energy technology development company, and also works with Proton Power, a biomass gasification company. Sam is an entrepreneur and engineer, and has led product development teams throughout his career. Since joining the private sector in 2000, Sam has founded three startup companies in Boulder and worked for three others in engineering and sales. Prior to joining the private sector, Sam worked as a researcher and designer in the field of optics and optoelectronics. Sam currently sits on the newly-formed Colorado Clean Energy Development Authority, and is active in the cleantech community as well as an advocate for sensible policy on energy and the environment
