EchoVerse Poetry & Slam Featuring Supreem December 19, 2008

The EchoVerse Poetry + Slam features Detroit-based poet Supreem at 1515 Broadway Theater in Downtown Detroit.

Every Friday join Resident Poet Johnny Jenkins Jr. host the award-winning "All Kinds Of Poetry" Open Mic, a cash prize poetry slam, local and national spoken word artist and Round Robin for emerging and seasoned poets and performance artist. Deep house, soul and hip hop provided by DJ Andre Royster of the SoundCircle Collective.

Each week the EchoVerse host SlamMadness 2009, our annual slam season to determine our 2009 Detroit Slam Team. Slam poets can win a cash prize and EchoVerse Slam Points for a chance to go to Miami, Florida to represent Detroit in national competition. We are a certified slam venue of Poetry Slam Inc.
