"Echoa confronts a young public with intelligence, [while] touching them through the use of humor.… There is magic to be found in this piece." — La Marseillaise du Var
Take an intriguing journey through seven innovative stories told in exuberant dance and rhythm. Two dancers and two percussionists create the stories, which explore the connection between movement and rhythm. The French company Arcosm seeks to discover the commonalities between music and choreography in Echoa, which is often infused with Latin music. In this exuberant production, kids and their families can explore such questions as How does a percussionist dance? and What is the sound of a dancer’s body?
For young people ages 4 and up and their families
