Echo Theatre Company’s Hit Parade Karaoke Contest and Cocktail Party August 5, 2007

On Sunday, August 5, 2007, Echo Theatre Company is throwing a Hit Parade Karaoke Party and Contest at St. Louis’s newest hotspot, the rBar. From 8 pm to midnight, you can sing, dance, drink, or just enjoy hanging-out on the outdoor patio. Popular DJ, local actor, and smooth crooner Charlie Barron will emcee, and our Hit Parade Posse of Beefcake and Beauties will be corralling the crowds in vintage 1950’s swimwear! The karaoke contest will be held from 9-11 pm, with the winner receiving a cash prize. There will also be raffles, a silent auction, and fun activities for the singing shy.

The proceeds will support Echo Theatre’s upcoming production of Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler (September 14-30, 2007), their Imagination over Limitations children’s hospital outreach program, and their free, monthly play reading series.
