Echo and the Bunnymen November 21, 2009

Echo & the Bunnymen's dark, swirling fusion of gloomy post-punk and Doors-inspired psychedelia brought the group a handful of British hits in the early '80s, while attracting a cult following in the United States. As eighties indie heroes, their majestic songwriting haunted a generation of bedsits and student pads. Re-formed in 1997, and still fronted by the inimitable Ian McCulloch, there's every cause to celebrate the Bunnymen's return.
