Échale! Latino Music Estyle April 5, 2013

Échale! Latino Music Estyles, Pearl’s popular and free Latin music series, continues the spring series with Bomba Estéreo and M.A.K.U. Soundsystem. Sponsored by Corona Extra, Red Bull Panamerika and Malibu Rum, the free concert series is scheduled at Pearl on Friday, April 5 at 7:00pm.

Founded in Bogotá, Colombia, Bomba Estéreo intertwines traditional Colombian cumbia music with “electro” and an onstage DJ to produce the lively “Electro Vacilón” or “Electro tropical.” M.A.K.U. Soundsystem inflects their sound with decidedly modern synthesizers and musical influences to generate a sound that is futuristic but traditional Colombia at its core.

The Pearl amphitheater seats roughly 2,000 and Pearl invites latecomers to bring lawn chairs and blankets if seating is scarce. Pearl is located at 200 E. Grayson St. in San Antonio, Texas. Parking will be available onsite, and please make sure to remember the Kohler garage, which has more than 300 parking spaces.
