Ebony Scrooge: A Modern Christmas Carol December 27, 2009

In this re-telling of the Dickens holiday story, a mean-spirited, miserly but wealthy restaurant owner named Ebony Scrooge experiences ghostly apparitions of her late partner “Marla”, and 3 Spirits, during an emotionally disturbing Christmas Eve. “Scared straight”, Ms. Scrooge awakens on Christmas Day, to remembrance, remorse and redemption; providing lavish gifts for the poor, and treating her fellow human beings with kindness, generosity, and warmth.
