A beautiful fur coat drops from the sky, landing on the shoulders of a secretary (Jean Arthur at her most charming), beginning a crazy chain of events as rumors fly that she is the mistress of a Wall Street millionaire (Edward Arnold), and suddenly all New York is at her feet. One of the great screwball comedies of the 1930s, Easy Living also stars Ray Milland.
