Easter Egg Hunt/Community service project April 16, 2011

Got kids six years of age and under (along with their older siblings)?
If so, then bring them to Faith Lutheran Church’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16 in Messiah Hall at Faith Lutheran Church, 10395 University Avenue in Clive, IA.
Your kids can enjoy hunting for Easter Eggs, coloring bags, doing arts and crafts and playing a variety of games. If you plan to attend the egg hunt, please call the church by April 10.
This event is also a service project for the community. Families with children in the 1st through 6th grades are asked to bring two dozen hard-boiled eggs to this event. Eggs will be colored for the Salvation Army’s food carts. In addition, egg casseroles will be assembled for the homeless in the Des Moines area. If you plan to attend this project, please contact the church by April 14.
To get to Faith Lutheran Church, take Interstate-235 to the Valley West Drive exit. Go north on Valley West Drive to University Avenue and go west. Continue beyond the K-Mart discount store; Faith Lutheran Church is on the north side of University Avenue. Parking is available at the church and at K-Mart.
