East Asian Ceramics: Then and Now December 27, 2008

This exhibit pairs recently acquired contemporary ceramics from China, Japan, and Korea with their pre-modern counterparts. In each case, the contemporary artist consciously adopts aspects of earlier wares while creating a thoroughly modern work of art.
