The purpose of the Charleston County Earth Day Festival is to educate Lowcountry residents about environmental issues in a celebratory atmosphere. This year’s activities will include the annual Earth Day art contest, a poetry contest, science projects, booths focusing on waste reduction, composting, wildlife, energy and water conservation, community exhibits, and promoting a waste-free event!
All festival activities and parking are free. There are lots of fun, family-oriented activities, games, prize drawings, music and entertainment. Join us Saturday, April 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Park Circle!
