Jimmie Walker, known as the wisecracking J. J. Evans on Good Times, will visit Seminole Casino Coconut Creek to meet fans and host the Coco Cash Clips promotion as a part of a month-long 1970s theme. His character was the hit sitcom’s breakout star and was best known for his catchphrase, “Dyn-o-mite!” Walker was the first winner of the NAACP Image Award, and won a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his work. To date, he has enjoyed great success on the big and small screen, and currently tours the country performing stand-up comedy and guesting on game shows and late night television.
During Coco Cash Clips, participants can cash in on some classic 1970s TV moments from popular shows like Good Times, Taxi, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Welcome Back Kotter, The Jeffersons and more. Contestants will be shown a clip from a popular ‘70s sitcom, and be given several options to how the scene ended. If the correct ending is selected, the player advances to the next level and can win up to $1,500 free play in the final round.
