dUTERVIL's music is characterised by the use of unconventionally open-tuned acoustic guitars played with contagious rhythmic intensity, hauntingly beautiful melodies sung in a supple yet full voice, unusual drumming that draws on both world music and jazz beats as well as modern rock, and electroacoustic samples seamlessly integrated into an otherwise non-electric sound.
