Dutchman's Rock Hike December 8, 2010

Hikers are to meet at the Cholla Day Use parking area for departure on the Treasure Loop Trail, then onto the Jacobs Cross Cut Trail and return for an easy 2+ mile hike. The elevation change is approx. 150 ft. Along the hike, discussions will cover the Superstition Mt. geology, legends & lore of those characters looking for gold, and an introduction to desert critters. Anticipate a 2 hour hike.
