Red Sox legend Jim Rice serves as hitting coach for Dunkin’ Donuts “Iced Tea-Ball” homerun derby to win a year’s supply of Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea.

WHAT: Dunkin’ Donuts will host the “Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea Party” inviting all to enjoy a hot summer day by sampling freshly brewed Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea and take a few swings in an “Iced Tea-Ball” homerun derby. Red Sox legend Jim Rice will serve as celebrity hitting coach for this contest to be held outside the TD Banknorth Garden.
“Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea Party” will include an “Iced Tea-Ball” home run derby competition that invites sluggers of all ages to take a swing to see how far they can hit a ball off the tee for various prizes. The contestant that whacks the ball farthest will win a year’s supply of Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea.
The celebration will include a performance of summer favorites by local A cappella group Ball in the House, a steel drum band and free samples of freshly brewed Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea. In addition 25 select Dunkin’ Donuts shops across the Greater Boston area will be handing out free samples of Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Tea.
