This hands-on 2-day class is a logical next step for beginner photographers who understand the basic principles of exposure and want to go further. Students gain a broad understanding of the technical concepts of digital photography, from capture to print.
Participants will begin by reviewing camera controls before going on a shooting excursion where they will practice how key concepts come together in real world situations under the guidance of a knowledgable instructor. The second day will be spent developing images using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3. We will learn how to make general image adjustments like contrast and color correction as well as options for converting to B&W. Finally, students will learn about cropping, resizing, and file types in order to output to a variety of media such as email, facebook, and print.
