Drupal Camp India August 7, 2008

Drupal is open source (free) software package (content management framework) that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content i.e text, image, videos,etc directly on a website.

DrupalCamp India is first ever camp to bring all Drupal enthusiasts primarly from India, rest of Asia, Europe and Australia for 3 days of packed Drupal sessions in 3 parallel tracks, plus business networking as well as job fair to connect with 1000s of open source developers in India.

8th and 9th August will be Technical Sessions
10th August will be Job Fair and Code Sprint.

We encourage International Delegates to book their tickets in advance and extend their say till 12th August to visit local companies for business partnerships.

We are inviting Session Proposals from other Drupal Development shops around the world who will be coming to attend this event. The more you share with a large Indian developer community, the better return Drupal Community will get.

30 slots : Reserved for Students and Faculty of DA-IICT
30 slots : Gujarat based Companies with Annual Sales over 100 crore (US $25 million)
30 slots : Drupal Association Members
30 slots : Sponsors
50 slots : Indian Companies engaged in Open Source Development
50 slots : International Delegates
70 slots : Students of Gujarat
110 slots : Open

Fees for Drupal Sessions (8,9 August)
Student : Rs. 500
Indian National (Individual) : Rs. 1500
Indian + Gujarat Company Registration : Rs. 10,000
International Delegates : $150 US
International Companies : Refer to sponsorship details on website.

** Registration under Students Track Category will be allowed to attend Students Track only. If you want to have flexibility to attend full event, you should register as Indian National

Students : Rs. 150 (online registration)
: Rs. 200 (at Gate)

Event Sponsorship details will be made available on website.

Job Fair registration is separate than event registration - both for employers and attendees and there is no attendee limit for Job Fair.

** For those who love game of Cricket, we are trying to see if we can have daily Cricket Matches scheduled very early in the morning in Twenty-Twenty format. International delegates and Cricket lovers are most welcome to join one of the teams.
