Drum Clinic with Jane Boxall May 28, 2011

The Rabbit Hole book and music store will be holding a two-part Drum Clinic on Saturday, May 28th with Doll Fight! drummer, Jane Boxall.

For the beginners clinic, Jane will get you ready to rock the drums with an interactive workshop featuring varied drumming styles and techniques. Beginner drummers ages 5 and up are welcome to attend." TIME for the beginner clinic is 3:00 - 3:30 PM and is limited to 8 attendees. All materials (such as sticks) will be provided. There is NO FEE for the beginner's class.

For the intermediate/advanced clinic, Jane digs deep into drumming technique and styles, from full-kit application of traditional drum rudiments to melodic drum kit playing, groove orchestration, double kick technique, and fusing styles from mambo to country to metal to disco. Drummers of all ages who have been playing for at least 6 months are welcome to attend. This will be an interactive workshop-style clinic -- bring your drumsticks and a practice pad if you have one. TIME for the intermediate/advanced clinic is 3:45 - 4:45 PM. There is a $5.00 FEE for this class.
