DIA EDM Conference 2011 will focus on "The Intersection of Data, Documents and Submissions" with specific regard to regulatory submissions. The conference will serve as a forum for the discussion of emerging standards and the processes for the creation, submission and retention of regulatory information. Event will include opportunities to learn about and discuss the benefits and challenges of global standards development and implementation, the design and development of business processes to facilitate the conversion of data into document components, and the current and future electronic submission standards landscape.
Donald Palmer, Associate Director Regulatory Systems, will speak on the topics of "Why do we need taxonomy? EDMS & Metadata" and "Regulatory Information Management."
