Every Sunday from 1-3 PM, families can experience a new adventure in art making free with admission to the Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibits on display in the galleries, architecture or holidays and traditions.

To honor the memory and dreams of Martin Luther King, listen to recordings from our current musical exhibition Black Sabbath, and create a concrete poem (in which words of your poem form a picture) using song lyrics and your own lyrical voice.
January 23, 2011: Up a Tree Adventure Journals
As Curious George finds himself up a tree in more than one adventure, celebrate Tu B’Shvat (the Jewish New Year for Trees) by making green journals out of recycled materials to record your own wacky adventures. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Curious George Saves the Day: The Art of Margret and H. A. Rey.
