Driving Miss Daisy Speaker & Annual General Meeting October 31, 2009

MATURE WOMEN'S NETWORK holds its Annual General Meeting plus Guest Speaker on "Driving Miss Daisy". Once a year we review what we've been doing over the past year and gain direction for the upcoming year.

Guest Speakers: Anita Jobs, Driving Miss Daisy (North Shore) and Suzanna Spandier-Macdonald, Driving Miss Daisy (Vancouver-Dunbar/Cambie)

TOPIC: "DRIVING MISS DAISY: Accompanying You to the Fuller Life"

This presentation will focus on housing and transportation to get seniors to chores, activities and travel. Driving Miss Daisy provides a service to accompany seniors and those with disabilities to where they want to go with gracious assistance and in safe, reliable vehicles.

Please join us for an afternoon of social, tea/coffee and fun.

Bring and Buy; Table with small used items for sale. Do you have anything extra you want to donate to help this fundraiser.

50/50 draw is another fundraiser and allows someone to go home with some extra cash!

Admission Cost: $4.00 includes meeting and light refreshments after talk.
