The Arizona Jewish Theatre Company presents this “serious comedy”. It is set in the Jewish ghetto of Vilna, Poland, in 1931, where a group of amateur actors are rehearsing a new play about Alfred Dreyfus, the French-Jewish military officer exiled for treason in 1895. They are unaware of their own precarious situation as they delve into the characters involved in the former historical event. Wonderful quirky characters. Written by Jean-Claude Grumberg and Adapted by Garson Kanin. “cry a little, laugh a lot…..” New York Times. The show runs January 26 - February 5, 2012
