Dress for Success Personal Shopping and Fashion Show October 5, 2012

The Maine Mall and many of its retailers are teaming up to support Dress for Success of Southern Maine.

Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts, and career development to low-income women. Women range in age and background. For the community, this event aims to eliminate the stereotypes associated with unemployed women. For current and future clients, this event will shed some light on the latest styles that professional women are wearing to work.

The event's structure:
Women can "purchase" a personal shopping experience for themselves, on the morning of October 17th which they'll be dressed and made up by participating mall retailers. But the afternoon will be the main event, with a showcase of all the looks on a catwalk in Garden Court.

Start saving your dollars ladies, because we're looking for models of all shapes and sizes, and believe that EVERY woman should get the chance to strut her stuff, look her best, and have her story told!
