Join us in welcoming the Drepung Gomang Monks for their second visit to kula-kamala-yoga. This time the group will consist of eight members led by Geshe Lharampa Lobsang Dhondup and Geshe Kalsang. Programs to be run during this event include the Opening Ritual & Prayer; Puja for Peae; Panda Dance; Discourse on the Four Noble Truths followed by Q & A; Debate; Snow Lion Dance; Meditation Practice; and closing prayer. This event will be outdoors weather permitting and all attendees should bring a blanket/mat and pillow for sitting, sun glasses and a sweater are also suggested. This event is by donation. Suggested donations are between $10 and $25 dollars. Pre-registration is not required just arrive with an open heart and an open mind and be prepared to learn about Tibetan culture, philosophy and practices from this wonderful group of monks. Following this event the monks will be joining us as we view a film about Braco for our "yoga movie night" at 6:45pm and then the Chant Master from this group will teach us a Tibetan Chant for Compassion and Peace as part of kula-kamala-yoga's Chant to Feed Those in Need from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. Donations for the Chant to Feed will be presented to our chosen charity of the month. Hope to see you in sangha! Namaste.
