Juilliard Historical Performance's new Artistic Director Robert Mealy leads Juilliard415 for the first time. An influential figure of the French Baroque, Jean-Philippe Rameau's operatic works--the fantastical Dardanus and the mythological Castor et Pollux--feature extensive orchestral dance suites, which proved to be an essential element to French opera of the Baroque era
