Shapes, anatomy, detail, and concepts that cannot be conveyed with words form the essence of scientific illustration. Watch a scientific illustrator demonstrate drawing techniques, then practice your skills with specimens from the UM Exhibit Museum of Natural History at this hands-on workshop. Drawing supplies will be provided. Held in conjunction with the June/July AADL exhibit, Illustrating Science: From Astronomy to Zoology. For ages Grade 9 to adult.
