Drama Dynamics December 13, 2012

This course is a full day program, for experienced actors in Years 5 and 6 who would like to further hone their skills in play building, more sophisticated acting techniques and stagecraft. In small groups, students will compose and perform their own piece of drama from various stimuli. Some examples of play building will include improvisation, mime and physical theatre. Participants will also learn about the elements of drama and the importance of the audience in any performance. A peer assessment will be conducted at the conclusion of the program allowing students to respond, reflect and analyse their own work and the work of others as well as evaluate the contribution of drama and theatre to enriching society.
