Dir. Tod Browning, 1931. Dracula’s (Bela Lugosi) castle stands in the shadows of the Carpathian Mountains, a symbol of fear and suspicion to the villagers who live in the valley below. Real estate agent Renfield (Dwight Frye) journeys to the castle to conclude a business transaction with its elusive owner.
