The Original, one and only Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is back!
March 19th 7pm at the ToonSeum!
Did you miss us? We missed you Art Monkeys!
Dr. Sketchy had been cryogenically frozen awaiting a cure for ice cream headaches (ironic isn’t it.) With no cure on the horizon and the Mayans predicting the end of the world anyway he has at last returned!
Bringing with him a bunch of booze and a bevy of beauties for your sketching delight!
What is Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School you ask? Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is what happens when you let the inmates take over art class. It is themed life drawing with a twist. Featuring music, mirth, models and mayhem.
With lightening fast quick draw sessions, the longest pose is a mere 15 minutes! Three models take to the stage to pose, live performances, music by DJ Zombo and ludicrous games are all a part of the evening festivities. Beer and wine will be served to help lubricate creativity.
Join us at the ToonSeum in the Lou Scheimer Gallery at 947 Liberty Avenue on Monday March 19th from 7pm-9pm.
Tickets are $12 online at www.sketchyburgh.eventbrite.org ToonSeum members are just $10. Reservations are highly recommended, as seating is very limited! Must be 21 to attend!
