Bella Arte Gallery is excited to host The Art of Dr. Seuss – “A Retrospective and International Touring Exhibition,” celebrating the art and life of Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss). This national touring exhibition has been showcased in museums and galleries across the county and will leave New York for the Richmond area in September marking the first time Virginian’s will be able to view this unique exhibit chronicling the common artistic links found throughout Dr. Seuss’s almost 70 years of creativity.
The Art of Dr. Seuss National Curator, Bill Dreyer, will be present at Bella Arte Gallery for the exhibition opening on the evening from 6-9pm on Thursday, September 13th, to provide insights into Geisel’s artistic life, his unique vision and his impact on American culture. Dreyer, a graduate of Midlothian High School and former resident of the Richmond’s Fan District, is excited to be returning to the area to showcase this very special collection from The Art of Dr. Seuss.
