The Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association is proud to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday......
This event will be The 13th Annual Read Across America “Read 2 Children Day” on Tuesday, March 2nd, between 3:30-5:00 p.m. Read Across America has been celebrated for many years now throughout the nation, bringing light to Dr. Seuss’s birthday and literacy. Here in Bakersfield, we'll have 5 reading sites of your choice to take your family and experience the joy of reading (Beale Memorial Library, Wilson Branch Library, Southwest Branch Library, Martin Luther King Jr. Center or Russo's Bookstore). This event will also be free to the entire community.
