Dr. Ketchup is a five-piece instrumental project from Philadelphia consisting of Rhodes piano & organ, tenor sax, trumpet, bass and drums. Over the last 10 years the band has seen a lot of changes but has retained its fundamental concept: the groove. Dr Ketchup's style is a balance between jazz structure and a funkified groove, a modal form of music that has been coined "Acid Jazz." The band also embraces the Boogaloo beats from the late '60s to create a jazz funk sound. The Ross Brown Project is a jazz/funk/jam band from Philadelphia, PA.
