Downtown Sounds presents The Peninsula Banjo Band September 19, 2009

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Peninsula Banjo Band will highlight the September 19th Downtown Sounds concert presented by the First Presbyterian Church of San Jose. The Peninsula Banjo Band will present an evening of delightful music.

The Peninsula Banjo Band has been around the bay area for over forty years. They have many fans in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their mission is to preserve the four string banjo and the music associated with it. For more information, please visit http://www.peninsulabanjoband.org/.

Following the concert, a reception for all will be held in the Social Hall.

About Downtown Sounds
Downtown Sounds is a four concert series featuring a variety of music groups and vocal groups in concert at the First Presbyterian Church of San Jose. The Downtown Sounds concerts support the many community programs provided by First Presbyterian Church of San Jose.
The final concert for 2009 will take place on Saturday, November 7th and will feature an Evening of Hawaiian
Music and Dance.
