Dove Harbor Women’s Transitional Shelter will host their annual “Shop for Shelter” auction at Madison Park Church of God on Thursday, October 8th. Tickets to the event are $10 at the door or $15 per couple in advance. Doors will open at 6:00 pm & Jackson’s Auction Company will begin the Live Auction at 7:30 pm! All proceeds benefit the women & children of the Dove Harbor Shelter.
Some of the prizes up for auction include: A Labradoodle puppy, Colts tickets, Tru Green services, Herald Bulletin subscriptions, spa packages, hotel stays, jewelery, designer purses, golf packages, Wayne Newton concert tickets & much more!

Dove Harbor is the largest transitional shelter program in Madison County for women & children. They serve up to ten families at a time who are able find safety, support and a sense of community after leaving unhealthy situations. The women are taken from welfare to work to well-being by addressing real-life needs through housing, life management education, emotional support and spiritual guidance for a period of six to twelve months. www.doveharbor.org.
