This exhibition focuses on three artists who depict interior spaces. These spaces range from domestic and studio settings to industrial interiors. The subject of interior space is one that has fascinated artists from antiquity. It is a theme that has not lost its attraction even in the contemporary world. Douglas Martenson portrays his everyday environment in the hope of touching upon something universal. Morgan Craig sees his industrial spaces as evocative structures filled with memory that call to the most private feelings in each of us. Christopher Gallego paints quiet, ethereal images of ordinary objects in prosaic spaces.
