As part of its Neighborhood Concert series, Carnegie Hall presents string quartet Ethel at the Abrons Arts Center. Ethel is a musically fearless Juilliard-trained quartet, including Canadian cellist, composer, and improviser Dorothy Lawson. The quartet has been together for over a decade and shared the stage with rock icons Todd Rundgren and Joe Jackson, as well as jazz legend Kurt Elling and “slam poet” Rives. This concert is part of the city wide music festival, Make Music New York.
