Join us for the launch event for the highly anticipated biography of a complex figure in the American cultural and political landscape. Widely regarded as the most influential American female photographer of the twentieth century, Dorothea Lange is known for her iconic documentary photographs of the Depression generation. Linda Gordon is the Florence Kelley Professor of History at New York University. She won the Bancroft Prize for The Great Arizona Orphan Abduction in 2000.
