If you've ever wanted to add more complexity to a project but wanted minimal impact on the visual design then this dorkbot is for you. On WEDNESDAY, October 4th at 7:30 PM at CoCA, we will have four of our Seattle dorkbot regulars speaking about 5 different microcontrollers.
Larry Barello will talk about Atmel controllers, Bill Beatty will talk about PICs, Doug Bell will show us the Cypress PSOC, Bill and Doug will both show us aspects of the Basic Stamp, and Eric McNeill will cover Rabbit chips. We'll see the different development environments that our presenters use, learn some of the strengths and weaknesses of the different MCU families, get an idea of how to get started with each of the controllers, and see some example applications.
