Doric Quartet May 7, 2010

The Doric Quartet is one of the outstanding quartets of their generation having won first prize at the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in 2008. This programme includes one of Haydn’s last and most peculiar quartets in which he breaks nearly every rule in traditional quartet writing. ‘Great wisdom and no self-indulgence’ The Strad.
