Don Cox Abstract Collection January 18, 2007

The Studio of 5 Rings will host the collection of Don Cox, an abstract painter from Elyria. The Collection will be on display from Jan. 18th - Feb. 17, 2007.

- Opening Reception will be Friday Jan. 26, 2007

Inspired by Picasso, Pollock and Matisse, he paints powerful pieces from his own perception of reality. His use of bold colors in complex layers draws the viewer into the art works. His work provides a glimpse into how he views the outside world using his personal feelings as a filter. Just as the open-backed guitar gives the viewer a look inside the guitar, so Cox's art gives the viewer a look inside the artist.
