Dog Days of Summer at The Haven August 13, 2011

The dog days of summer are here and, despite the scorching heat, all the Haven animals will be fresh and cool at Petsmart in the Eastern Shore Shopping Plaza on Saturday, August 13 from 11am to 3pm. Transported in the Haven’s Mobile Adoption Rescue Unit (MARU), potential adopters can see many wonderful, cuddly dogs and cats that have been pulled from shelters in Baldwin County to help with overcrowding. Pet trainers will also be onsite to help answer your pet behavioral and/or training questions.
So is your next best friend waiting for you? The Haven has the best value adoption package in BaldwinCounty. All adoptable animals are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. They have been tested for heartworms (treated if positive) and feline AIDS/leukemia and treated for fleas and de-wormed. The adopter also receives the animal’s medical records, a FREE bag of Science Diet food, a FREE pet training DVD, a FREE 8x10 pet portrait voucher from JC Penney Portrait Studios and FREE thirty days of pet health insurance. Adoption fees are: $80 for dogs and $55 for cats.
