Do you use your voice professionally?
Do you find you lose your voice or does it get husky after singing or speaking?
Do you know how to maintain good vocal health?
Well you may be interested in attending the Vocal Health Forum on October 16th 2-5pm at the Regal Room in Hammersmith.
Many professional and non professional voice users are unaware of the things that can impact on the voice including your diet, illness, bad technique or vocal habits and poor breath support.
The Vocal Health Forum panel consists of four professional practitioners who work daily with general health and/or the voice. They treat and train singers, actors, speakers, teachers and non professional voice users who are struggling with issues such as poor singing technique, vocal damage e.g. nodules, bad speaking habits e.g. shouting when teaching, dietary issues effecting the voice e.g. Gastric Reflux, muscle tension and incorrect breathing habits.
Get advice on how to avoid developing vocal issues in the first place, or if they do arise how to recognise the symptoms promptly, where to get help and what kind of help to get.
The panel wont be able to cure you but you will come away better equipped to prevent vocal issues and understand how to look after your voice effectively.
