Chicago choreographer Dmitri Peskov explores life's ephemeral nature in a world premiere dance suite. 'Of Fleeting Things' tells a story of two opposing characters. One, played by dancer Paul Christiano, is anxious, insecure, unable to communicate. He begins in comedy and ends in tragedy. The other, played by Peskov, is meditative, spiritual, self-reflective. He begins in darkness but ends in light. The evening length work consists of several short vignettes featuring Company Members/Dancers Paul Christiano, Amanda Dye, Aimee Tye and Dmitri Peskov. Music by Andrey Dergatchev, Gyorgi Ligeti, Alfred Scnittke, Sergei Starostin and Pteris Vasks. The program features adult themes and brief nudity.
